Storage unit, furniture storage or business storage
How do I know which service I need?
Two questions: what you’re storing and for how long. If it’s your own things and you want them to hand with no end date, it’s a storage unit. If it’s a whole house while a move or building work lasts, it’s furniture storage. If it’s stock or archives for a business, it’s business storage. If you’re not sure, call us on 695 667 153 and we’ll work it out in five minutes.
Aren’t furniture storage and a storage unit the same thing?
At Keepy the space is the same, but the service isn’t. With furniture storage we can collect your furniture from your home and pack it, and it’s designed for a period of transition. A storage unit you manage yourself, with no end date. With both you can get in whenever you like, which is what sets us apart from traditional furniture storage in sealed containers.
Can I change service or size later on?
Yes. If you started as a private customer and your business grows, we’ll move you to the business service with invoices. And if you need more or less space, we’ll move you to another unit at the same facility with one phone call, with no penalty and charged pro rata by the day.
What’s the minimum term?
One month for every service. There’s no penalty for leaving: just give us 15 days’ notice.
Does the insurance cover my things with every service?
Yes: €500/m² up to a maximum of €3,000 per storage unit, at no extra cost. If you’re storing something more valuable, the cover can be extended.
What about special items, like motorbikes or instruments?
We assess them case by case: size, access, conditions and insurance cover. Tell us what it’s by phone or WhatsApp and we’ll let you know whether we can take it, and how.
