Questions that apply to every facility
How much does a Keepy storage unit cost?
From €35 a month. The price then depends on the size you need, from 1 to 12 m², and the facility you choose. Insurance and access from 7am to 10pm, 365 days a year, are included, with no long-term commitment. You can also get up to 10% off when you pay in advance. Is there a minimum stay?
No. The minimum stay is one month. After that, stay for as long as you need, with no penalty for leaving. To cancel, simply give 15 days’ notice by phone, WhatsApp, email or at your facility’s office.
When can I access my storage unit?
Access is available 365 days a year, from 7am to 10pm, using your personal access card. Only you have the key to your unit’s padlock. A member of our team is always at the facility during office hours, and a 24-hour phone line is available for emergencies outside those hours.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes, and it’s included: your contract provides goods insurance of €500/m², up to a maximum of €3,000 per storage unit, at no extra cost. If you store more valuable items, you can increase your cover.
What do I need to sign up?
If you’re a private customer, you’ll need your ID and a bank account or card. If you’re a business, you’ll also need your company tax number (CIF), deed of incorporation and the director’s ID. Signing up is quick and you can sign online.
What do I pay when I sign, and how are later payments collected?
When you sign up, you pay the current month plus a deposit equal to one month’s rent, which we return by bank transfer when your contract ends. After that, payments are taken by direct debit or card between the 1st and 5th of each month.
Are there discounts for paying in advance?
Yes. Pay six months in advance and you get 5% off, and pay twelve monthsand you get 10%off. These are the only two discounts we offer.
Can I switch to a larger unit if I run out of space?
Yes, at no extra cost. Let us know and we’ll check availability for the size you need and move you to another unit. It works both ways: if you have too much space, you can downsize too.
What can’t I store?
Nothing perishable, flammable or hazardous: gas cylinders or pressurised gases, electric scooters and bicycles, illegal substances, weapons or plants. High-value items such as jewellery are also excluded. The full list is in your contract.
